How to Use the Calculator

The above calculator is using the following formula to find out what your ROI is:

[(How much you'll be getting - your investment)/your investment]*100

Here is how to use it:

1. By the "1)", enter in the amount that you are planning to invest on a website. These are just approximate values, so you have an idea and are able to make a plan to see what a website can do for you.
   
   
2. Next the "2)", you need to figure an estimate for the amount of money your website will generate. Once again, these are just approximations. The easiest way to figure out the amount of money generated by your website is by figuring out the traffic to your website and then setting a percentage of how many visitors will become customers. Like this:
   
   
   • 3000 visitors per year to my website and 3% become customers, so...
   • 5000 * .03 = 150 customers
     
     
3. Finally you take your 150 customers and figure out an average profit you make from each customer you sell to:
   
   
   • Average $30 profit for each customer that we sell to
   • $30 * 150 = $4500

So in the calculator area labeled "2)" you would enter 4500.
